Widewaters Construction, Inc. Announces the Opening of the Home2Suites by Hilton Hotel in Eugene, Oregon

Widewaters Construction is thrilled to announce the completion and Grand Opening of the newest hotel in our corporate portfolio, The Home2Suites by Hilton in Eugene, Oregon!  We are extremely proud of the team who worked on this challenging project, including: Steve Ranieri, Jim Rajkowski, Debbie Norton, Pat Getze, and a special assist from Tom Talarico.

Eugene, Oregon, is located at the southern end of the Willamette Valley, about 50 miles east of the Oregon Coast. Eugene is home to the famed Oregon Ducks and is also known as “The Running Capital of the World”. Visitors to this beautiful 120 room all suite hotel can enjoy many local craft breweries, wine tours and outdoor adventures during their stay in Eugene. And be sure to enjoy the new Digital Key technology and open your guestroom door with your smartphone!


Widewaters Construction, Inc. Announces the Hiring of Jeffrey Embry, Assistant Project Manager

Mr. Embry is joining our team as an Assistant Project Manager at our project in Tempe, AZ where we are under construction on a new dual brand hotel, a Home2 Suites by Hilton / Hilton Garden Inn. The project also includes a new restaurant.

Mr. Embry has 20 plus years of experience managing various commercial construction projects as well as some residential projects; he is proficient in Microsoft Office, and experienced in Primavera and MS Project.

Widewaters Construction, Inc. Announces the Hiring of Stephen Bossart, Superintendent

Stephen Bossart is joining our team as a Construction Superintendent at our project in Vail, Colorado. This project involves the renovation of an existing Holiday Inn and the conversion to a DoubleTree by Hilton.

Mr. Bossart is a graduate of Syracuse University and holds a BA from The Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs, History:  Business, Architecture. Additionally, he has an advanced degree from Harvard University and is currently completely coursework to become LEED certified.  Mr. Bossart has worked for the City of Aspen as a Project Manager for the past 13 years. He’s also worked on hotels in Honolulu, Hawaii, and done commercial construction projects in Park City, Utah, and Boulder, Colorado.

Widewaters Construction, Inc. Announces the Hiring of Alain Chevrier, Senior Project Manager – Hospitality Renovations

Mr. Chevrier is a hotel renovation specialist who has most recently managed over 12 hotel renovations within a 3 year period. Prior to that, he has managed over 60 renovations over a 17 year period.

Mr. Chevrier has a diploma in Construction Engineering Technology from Northern Alberta Institute of Technology (NAIT) and fluently speaks French and English. He will work from our office in Alexandria, VA office and will focus on the renovations in Vail, Colorado, Solon, Ohio, Erie, Pennsylvania, Victor, New York, and St. Louis, Missouri.

Widewaters Construction, Inc. Announces the Hiring of Albert Santa Cruz, Assistant Project Manager

Mr. Santa Cruz will be the Assistant Project Manager working at the future site of the Home2 Suites by Hilton in Eugene, Oregon. Mr. Santa Cruz has over 20 years of construction experience, including the construction of single family homes, residential buildings, and commercial buildings throughout Arizona, California and Afghanistan. He is OSHA 30 Hour Certified.

Widewaters Construction, Inc. Announces the Hiring of Valerie Thodde, Project Manager

Ms. Thodde will be a Project Manager working on several different West Coast Projects for Widewaters, as well as a future hotel renovation in Vail, Colorado.

Ms. Thodde has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Industrial Engineering, with a Minor in Business Administration from Florida International University and holds a Juris Doctor from St. Thomas University School of Law, both in Miami, Florida. She is also LEED trained.
